12 States With The Highest Credit Scores

Credit scores from online mortgage shoppers have risen four points since 2011, averaging 734, according to a study by MortgageMarvel.com, which analyzed nearly half a million online mortgage applicants.

Some states are averaging even higher credit scores, particularly among those states known for having high household earnings. The following are the states with the highest median credit scores among mortgage applicants, according to Mortgage Marvel.com:

  • California: 774
  • Hawaii: 771
  • Oregon: 771
  • Wisconsin: 766
  • Connecticut: 765
  • Delaware: 764
  • Washington: 764
  • Colorado: 763
  • Rhode Island: 763
  • New Hampshire: 762
  • Virginia: 762
  • Maryland: 761

The states with the lowest median credit score among mortgage applicants are Arkansas (691) and Mississippi (698), according to MortgageMarvel.com.

Can you feel it in the air? The cold, damp, darkness of Winter is slowly starting to fade. The days are getting longer, the afternoons warmer, and your outlook is, well, BRIGHTER. But it’s not bright enough…it’s time to chase away the gray of Winter with an avalanche of color bright enough to make a rainbow feel bad about itself….IT’S TIME TO DASH & DYE!!!!

**This event is ALL AGES. Under 18 must have legal guardian present to sign waiver.** Dash & Dye is a 5K Color Fun Run. During the run, you will get covered in non-toxic colored corn starch, thrown by volunteers all too eager to use you as their own personal canvas. Each section of the run brings a new color to the mix, until the finish line and the final tidal wave of color that will make your washing machine shed a tear. During the run you’ll also be on the look out for Easter Eggs that will score you great prizes, and you can enter for the $500 Grand Prize (must be present at time of drawing, drawing at 2pm.) Procedes benefit Boys & Girls Club of America.
